The Clinic Is Temporarily CLOSED
Update as of November 19, 2020:
The clinic is currently closed due to the increased risk of COVID in our community. Please check back with us over the next few weeks as we will update you on our status. Thank you.
Several people have reached out to us since Governor Inslee issued the most recent stay at home orders to ask if our clinic is required to close. Our minds have been heavy as we have thought about how to balance the needs of our patients with the needs of our community at large. Right now our community is struggling to contain the spread of a very dangerous and contagious disease. Although it is true that we have taken every possible preventative measure available within in our clinic space, the fact remains that each of us are being asked to curtail our usual activities for the sake of the community at large. At Sloth Around, we want to be part of that community solution. We have decided to temporarily suspend our services for a few weeks while monitoring the local trends. As soon as it appears safe to reopen, we will resume seeing patients in person, prioritizing care for those in our community who are at most risk and could not otherwise get their health needs met.
We realize that these additional stay at home measures might feel like a significant disappointment, especially as the rain is returning and our daylight hours are shortening. It helps us to think about the power that these restrictions are handing to us. Each of us, through our own personal choices and behaviors, can help to keep our community safe. And what a gift that is!
Throughout this temporary closure, we are still available for no contact herbal management. We will also be reachable by phone or email if something changes in your health condition and you want to discuss it further. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Please be in touch with any questions or concerns. Thank you for your continued support!
